Franchise context: The write-up below is from the parent franchise article (anime, book series, or IP) rather than the card game itself. A dedicated CCG profile has not been written yet.

The Card Captor Sakura trading card game is a collectible card product published by Takara Tomy in Japan, released in April 2018 to coincide with the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime adaptation of CLAMP's beloved manga series. The game drew on the Clear Card arc's narrative, in which protagonist Kinomoto Sakura must capture a new set of mysterious transparent magical cards. Takara Tomy produced starter sets containing 35 cards alongside limited edition variants, positioning the product within a broader wave of Clear Card merchandise released alongside the television broadcast. The set shares shelf space in the collector market with a separate Bushiroad Weiss Schwarz set themed to the same arc, making the Tomy release the less commonly discussed of the two card products from that period. The game rules and exact card mechanics are not widely documented in English-language sources, and the product is now out of print.
