D.Gray-man is a Japanese collectible card game published by Konami, launched in November 2006 to coincide with the anime adaptation of Katsura Hoshino's manga series of the same name. The franchise follows exorcist Allen Walker and his colleagues as they battle demonic creatures called Akuma under the banner of the Black Order. The card game ran from 2006 through at least 2009, producing multiple numbered volumes and special booster sets. The first set contained 66 cards and established an aesthetic described by collectors as dark and atmospheric, consistent with the manga's gothic horror tone. Featured characters include Allen Walker, Timcanpy, Lala, and various Akuma. The game was released exclusively in Japanese and did not receive a Western localization. Multiple collector-grade sets have appeared on secondary markets in subsequent years.
