Danball Senki (also known internationally as Little Battlers eXperience, or LBX) is a collectible card game released by Bandai in Japan in April 2011, developed as a companion product to the multimedia LBX franchise created by Level-5. The franchise centers on small customizable plastic robots called LBXs that battle inside miniature cardboard arenas, and the CCG extended that theme to a trading card format. Bandai released multiple products under the Danball Senki LBX Battle Card Game banner, including booster sets and a Best Selection Pack titled LBX All Stars. The franchise launched across video games, anime, and plastic model kits simultaneously, with the Level-5 PSP game and its Bandai plastic model line announced in December 2009 before the card game followed in 2011. The game was produced and sold in Japan and did not receive a formal English-language card game release despite the LBX brand later reaching Western audiences through Nintendo 3DS releases. Collector copies remain available through Japanese specialty retailers.
