Devacurse TCG

Devacurse is a collectible card game published by Gandharvas Studio, drawing on the mythologies and visual traditions of South and Southeast Asia. The game casts each player as a divine being competing for spiritual dominance: players field an avatar alongside soldier, hero, and event cards, and the player who exhausts their opponent's faith points wins. The thematic world is shaped by nagas, yaksas, Himmapan creatures, Garuda warriors, and monkey lords, with the central hero Irawat portrayed as half-human and half-Naga. The art direction drew explicitly on the Ramayana mural traditions of classical temple painting. The first set, Half Blood Deal, introduced the core card pool, followed by the expansion Vengeful Kindred. A companion English-language blog was maintained by fans from approximately 2008 onward to translate rules and card text for non-native audiences. Documentation of the exact card count and full set breakdown is limited outside specialist collector records.
