Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Fusion World is a collectible card game published by Bandai and released worldwide on February 16, 2024. It represents a deliberate fresh start for the Dragon Ball Super card game line: rather than building on the original Dragon Ball Super CCG (which launched in 2017 and continued as a separate product renamed Masters), Fusion World was designed with simplified rules intended to welcome new players and run parallel to a fully featured digital version for Windows PC. At launch, four starter decks featured Son Goku, Vegeta, Broly, and Frieza as Leader Cards, alongside the first booster set, Awakened Pulse, containing 140 cards. Cards purchased physically include serial codes that unlock matching cards in the digital client. The simultaneous worldwide release in English and Japanese, combined with the digital component, marked a significant shift in Bandai's strategy for the franchise. Fusion World and Masters are not card-compatible with each other, effectively establishing two parallel Dragon Ball Super card game ecosystems.
