Draim Arena was a fantasy collectible card game developed and published by Draim AB, a company founded in Nacka, Sweden in 2003 and dissolved around 2008. The game launched in the autumn of 2006 and was the only major product the studio released. It is set in the continent of Disia within the fictional world of Draimia, a high-fantasy setting featuring unique creatures, magic, and enchanted artifacts. Players assembled small armies of one to five character cards and resolved combat using special twelve-sided dice divided into tactics and combat designations, a mechanic that set the game apart from the majority of CCGs at the time and drew comparisons to tabletop role-playing games. Cards were non-rectangular in shape, adding another point of visual distinction. Two rule variants existed: a 9-card hand-played format and a 30-card library-based format, with tournament play supporting sealed-deck and constructed modes. Plans for a companion board game called World were announced but never realised before the company shuttered.
