Furoticon is an adults-only anthro collectible card game designed by Seppel (with a development team that included Callista Skip, Basque, Marik, and Tegome Aburana) and published in the United States beginning in July 2009 with its premiere set Vanilla, which contained 179 game cards illustrated by 58 different artists. The game was conceived in 2008 and debuted at Anthrocon, the convention at which subsequent sets were also launched on an annual cadence.
Players take the role of an Owner competing against opponents for dominance over rival harems, a framing that positions the game explicitly within adult furry fandom. Despite its niche audience, Furoticon maintained a structured release schedule across several expansions: Triskelion (2010, BDSM-medieval setting, 130 cards), 2nd Vanilla (2011, college-modern setting, 132 cards), Tribes of Tanglebrook (2012, 147 cards), 3rd Vanilla: Strawberry (2013, 160 cards), Di'Ahla's Awakening (2013, 87 cards), and Fortune at Vell's End (2014, 178 cards). The game featured substantial artist diversity across its run and built a dedicated community through its own wiki and forums.
