Get Backers is a Japanese collectible card game published by Konami in Japan beginning in January 2003, based on the manga series GetBackers written by Yuya Aoki and illustrated by Rando Ayamine. The manga ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine from 1999 to 2007 and collected 39 volumes; a 49-episode anime adaptation animated by Studio Deen broadcast on TBS from October 2002 to September 2003, placing the card game's release at the height of the anime's broadcast run. Konami was the exclusive gaming licensee for the franchise, having also published all five GetBackers video games released in Japan between 2001 and 2004. The card game was released across at least four volumes, with individual sets labeled Vol. 1 through Vol. 4. Documented collector holdings show that volumes 1 through 4 existed as distinct product releases. No English-language edition was produced. The game is out of print, and surviving cards trade among specialty collectors of early-2000s Konami CCG products.
