Franchise context: The write-up below is from the parent franchise article (anime, book series, or IP) rather than the card game itself. A dedicated CCG profile has not been written yet.

K1 - Grand Prix is a Japanese collectible card game published by Konami in August 2002, based on the K-1 World Grand Prix full-contact martial arts competition, a real-world kickboxing and striking tournament that reached peak global popularity in the early 2000s. Konami held a licensing relationship with the K-1 organization across multiple product lines during this period, including console video games for PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance. The physical card game capitalized on the same license, adapting the roster of competing fighters and the competitive format of the Grand Prix into a collectable card product for the Japanese market. Documentation of the game's rules, card count, and set structure is scarce in English-language sources, and the game appears to have had a limited production window tied to the height of K-1's popularity. No further card set releases have been identified. This game is one of several Konami sports-license CCGs of the era that remain poorly documented outside Japan.
