Kabal is a French collectible card game published by Multisim in 1995, drawing directly from the lore of the Nephilim tabletop role-playing game. The RPG itself is a richly esoteric work set in a world where occult societies, Templars, Kabbalistic traditions, and mystical entities from Egyptian mythology through the Renaissance all intersect, and the card game transplants that same atmosphere into a competitive CCG format. Players build decks around factions and characters from the Nephilim universe and contest one another using spells, artifacts, and supernatural powers. The collection spans three editions: a first edition base set, a second edition revision, and the Daimon expansion, which added new factions such as the Selenim and Templiers alongside mystical locations and secret magic cards. The complete catalog reaches approximately 940 cards. Kabal remained a French-market product and never received an English translation, leaving it largely unknown outside France. Original sealed starters and boosters are still sought by collectors on French secondary markets.
