Lycee Overture is a reformulation and continuation of the Lycee Trading Card Game line, published by Movic beginning in February 2017. The Overture label replaced the earlier Silver Blitz-branded releases and introduced refreshed packaging and updated licensing agreements, allowing Movic to secure a broader portfolio of anime and visual novel properties. Licensed franchises represented in Lycee Overture sets include Fate/Grand Order, August visual novel titles, and the Marmalade label, among others, with each intellectual property receiving its own versioned booster series. The core mechanics carry over from the original Lycee TCG: players use character, event, item, and area cards across five elemental types and compete to exhaust the opponent's sixty-card deck. An unofficial English translation community at lycee-tcg.eu has made card text and rules available to Western players. The Overture line produced numerous booster sets through the late 2010s and early 2020s.
