NFL Rush Zone is a collectible card game published by Superbrandnew and tied to the NFL Rush Zone animated television franchise. The animated series, which aired on Nicktoons and NFL Network from 2010 to 2014, follows a young Guardian named Ishmael and a roster of 32 superhero Rusherz representing every NFL franchise as they defend thirty-two Team Megacores from the villain Sudden Death. The trading card game, released under the subtitle Kickoff Series 1, translates that franchise into a two-player competitive format structured as four quarters of play, with each quarter containing two battles alternating offense and defense. Starter decks included 49 cards and two foldout MiniFigures; booster packs contained foil cards alongside Rusherz, Guardians, Endzone, Megacore, and Shield cards, plus PowerStickerz for gameplay bonuses. The game was created by Matt Cullen and took nearly two years from initial concept to retail availability.
