Power Cards Card Game, known in Hungarian as Hatalom Kartyai Kartyajatek, is a collectible card game published by Beholder Kft., a Hungarian book publisher and game developer founded in 1992. The game debuted in 1995 and is based on Tulelo Foldje (Land of Survivors), a Hungarian play-by-mail roleplaying game. It holds the distinction of being the first and most widely played Hungarian CCG. Players deploy creatures, buildings, artifacts, and spell cards, winning by reducing the opponent's life total to zero. The game expanded continuously over the following two decades: by 2010 it had seen nine starter pack editions, 25 booster sets, and numerous mini-expansions, resulting in approximately 6,000 distinct cards in existence. Czech-language editions of the base set and first three expansions were also published under the name Wastelands. The game remained in print as of the mid-2010s.
