Puck Attax was a hockey-themed card game published by Topps in November 2009 as part of the company's Attax series. The set featured 192 players drawn from all thirty NHL teams and was designed for head-to-head competitive play in which players assembled team lineups and managed shift assignments. Cards were printed in a distinctive circular puck shape rather than the standard rectangle, reinforcing the hockey identity of the product. Each pack contained five puck cards plus one black foil game card, with boxes of twenty-four packs totalling 144 random cards. Parallel chase cards were available in Gold, Black, and Platinum foil variants. Starter Decks included sixteen cards alongside a play mat and rulebook. The game was aimed primarily at younger collectors and sat within Topps's broader Attax product family, which produced analogous sets for football, baseball, cricket, and other sports during the same period.
