Shin Bikkuriman: Kamui Tensei (officially rendered in Japanese as 神ビックリマン 神威転生) is a chocolate wafer card game released by Lotte in Japan in March 2014, representing a revival of the Bikkuriman collectible-card-wafer format that had defined Japanese kids' collectibles since the 1970s. Unlike the iconic small stickers of the original Bikkuriman series, Kamui Tensei moved to larger, full-figured character cards with printed battle statistics, enabling a simple head-to-head card game playable with as few as five cards. Boxes contained 20 packs, with 51 base cards to collect plus 12 alternate-background variant versions. Later in 2014 Lotte offered a promotional Battle Kit containing a play mat, a how-to-play DVD, and exclusive cards for players who wanted a more structured play experience. The game is part of the broader Shin Bikkuriman relaunch and sits within the long tradition of Lotte and Bandai candy-pack card collectibles in Japan.
