Turbo Attax

Turbo Attax is a trading card game brand operated by Topps, representing the application of the company's Attax game system to motorsport subjects. The first standalone Turbo Attax product was the Top Gear Turbo Attax collection, launched in February 2015 in the United Kingdom in association with the BBC television series Top Gear. That initial release featured over 200 cards covering cars, challenges, and hosts from the show, with foil and holographic chase cards included. A second season followed in 2016. The Turbo Attax brand was subsequently extended to Formula 1, with the Formula 1 Turbo Attax collection launching for the 2020 season and continuing annually thereafter, growing into one of Topps's primary motorsport card properties. The Attax format across all its variants centers on numerical ratings allowing head-to-head card battles, making it accessible to younger collectors while retaining a collectible chase element through tiered rarity. The 2015 Top Gear launch is the earliest documented use of the Turbo Attax name as a standalone product.
